A Sublimely Melancholy WallA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
I feel a lot like The comedy and tragedy masks Smashed together, Lying in pieces Mixed together on the floor.
If I were a movie I’d be the cowboy Riding off into the sunset With the girl, While a meteor the size of Jupiter Hurls towards Earth.
If you listen real close I am that sappy love ballad That gets drowned out By a metal song About destruction.
I imagine that if I were a
poem That I would be the love
child From the minds of
Silverstein And Edgar Allen Poe.
There are so many times I
feel like My heart is walking into a
wall Built with bricks of
contradiction.
