Fake JewelryA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Two faces is too much for one heart to carry
You
display the Earth proudly like It's a rock on your finger Even
though it is set In
a gold plated band.
Wearing
it with pride plated sincerity You
try to hide the tarnished memory That
sucked up all your oxygen And
put you in a new moon state of mind.
One
day that shining coating Will
flake off, Exposing
the truth; That
the necklace draped over your chest Is
nothing more than imitation pearls, A
symbolic gesture in showing How
you truly feel About
the ozone layer protecting your heart.
