Hollow In My Holler

Hollow In My Holler

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

I hear an echo

Bounce off these self made

Canyon walls,

It is your speech

Trying to fill the void,

But these hollers

Remain hollow

Cause voice

Has no substance.

Just brilliant. At the same time, Randy Travis is echoing in my mind.

Ah my sweet, this can be interpreted in many ways as you already know and by reading a few comments they can completely change. For me, I see it like it is and can relate. You have such a way of writing that even a short poem can hook them and leave them wanting more. Loved it babe

Thank you so much darling :)
"Self- made canyon walls"- this very well depicts how we are not inclined to listen and follow our own voice.. We become too engrossed in listening to others that we fail to recognise it. Splendid write :)

You're welcome muchly :)
While I too agree, I see a personal message in the spaces of LA LA LA, the words were carefully chosen

Echoes of hollow substance

Very clever indeed ;)

Thanks so much Maddy, bald you enjoyed my little scribble.
How interesting. For me this is like a "LA LA LA I can't hear you" when I am mad at someone.
