A very relatable piece; I think we've all felt similarly at times. The only thing I don't understand is why you chose "But a court jester / Is never prince charming." Unless I'm missing something, I think it would make more sense to me if you wrote, "Because a court jester / Is never prince charming."

Awh Dale, I think we all have those moments where we act like a fool but when you're in love with someone you can't help it. You don't want to ever let them go. I am sure if you spoke about what's on your mind with Kayleigh that would understand and reassure you. :-)
