You think it looks

So good

Draped around your neck,

All the while

It fills your veins with lies.

You wear it with pride

And in return

It wears down

Your common sense,

Till the expensive suit

That fancies up your heart

Becomes a thrift store jacket

That shows your pride

Is out of style.

So just keep picking at

Those loose threads

And eventually you’ll have

Enough rope

To hang yourself

Out to dry…

Everyone you know

Will attest to it being suicide

So you justifiably

Will burn in hell.
