Defanged And DeclawedA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)The
lonesome whistle Of
a train cutting through The
night Can
be heard echoing off The
heart of a wolf In
search of his love Beneath
the harsh glow Of
the man in the moon’s Wicked
grin.
The
sound of the steel snake Barreling
down its backtracks Mocks
the wolf’s confidence Causing
his howl To
give into the laws of gravity.
With
the weight of the world Scientifically
keeping him lonesome The
wolf has but one option…
That is a secret that will never see
the light of day. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
