Waiting On The LineA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Silence is never golden When it comes to you, Every hour without your words Saturating my mind Lowers the blood levels In my veins, Causing my heart to wither A little more. As the hours pass The emotional drought Gets closer to reaching Emergency status. Then Just one phone call From you Is like a rainstorm in summer Making the barren wasteland In my feeling Just a distant memory, As my heartland Becomes overrun With red rose bushes. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
