Fundamental SalvationA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
The peephole To the front door Is an eye of the damned.
Every window In this house looks like The charred flesh Of an angel.
You would have seen The walls bleeding If they weren’t already a Neglected red
That creaking sound You hear Is the screams of the attic Being weighed down By the haunting Of bad memories.
Every cobweb Strategically placed Throughout the house Are dreamless catchers Making themselves Feel at home.
The dust settled On forgotten furniture Caps of the symbolism Of a home Praying to its foundation For a wrecking ball to come.
