I get lost

in my book,

 

Living out a story

              In my mind.

 

When I finally look up

All around me I see..

 

              That ever one else is

 

                             An electronic zombie.

This write spoke so much to me about our future. It is almost as if you did time travel. I try to keep my cell phone away from my person as much as I can. In my country it is one of the body parts of 50% of the people already. Thank you for this clever write!

I think we all get zombified into some kind of media, electronic or not. I get lost in both printouts from the internet and books as well.

nothing like reading a real book...actually turning pages...getting lost between the front and back cover...taking time out from life, to read about another's life.

I love this one L B ! There is something intimate about reading a book..the feel and sound of turning the pages with a cup of tea, it turns into an event. All that goodness I hope is not lost on the future generations..
