The grease isn't always greener

In my dreams…

 

       I wouldn't say stupid things

              Think too much

              Hurt you with my words.

 

In my dreams…

 

       I would be more confident

              Be the man you need

              Be the man I know I can be

              Be the hero you dreamed

 

In my dreams…

 

       I would make you happy every day

              Make you feel important

              Make you feel special

              Make you feel loved

 

Sometimes I wish I could just dream

All day and night,

Then I realize if that were a reality

I would miss out on the real you

The person I fell in love with.

Many times when we finally find the 'one', that special someone that we know beyond a shadow of a doubt is "the one", it feels much like a dream. Living and fulfilling your dreams together, dreams shared with a common goal and purpose, those are the most rewarding dreams that come to fruition when in a long term relationship.
