Darkness creeps in,

Colors lose their luster

As all the flower’s fresh pollen

Is washed,

And the greener grass

Becomes seaweed

From drowning in

Heaven’s tears.

Winter, is what this piece has me thinking about. Love's winter. The dormant/ phase. Some people, especially the fraudulent in matters of love and friendship won't accept the dying season. They keep pining, that one of their faux seeds of respect and truth will grow beyond the ice, and snow. But I don't feel that in your words, Dale. Sincerity is a hard thing to fake and even harder thing to grow, in the winter. Yet here you have us digging, bare-handed into the frozen earth and flooded fields for a few handfuls of hope, handful of truth.

For me, this piece can be related to life itself...as life is never a perfect paradise for us. Or can be a relationship. There are ups and downs, happiness and sadness, light and dark, sunny and rainy days...
