Not What We SeeA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Not making and judgements, just saying…A Hollywood dad’s Greatest performance Is hiding the perverted monster Lurking beneath his clean
image.
A man dressed in his blues’s Is stared down by a criminal Every time he looks in the
mirror Cause his temper has become
the jury.
A man of the cloth Listens to his flocks sins While keeping his unholy acts With an alter boy beneath the
robe.
They build a wall with Their statures and titles To keep us from seeing the
truth, Knowing full well that most
people… Believe the screen don’t lie, Hope the law is always right, Have faith in God’s teachers.
It is great to follow the
saying That “believing is seeing”, But there comes a time to
realize You can’t believe everything
you see. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
