A Season To BelieveA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)You
can bathe my skin, Polish
my heart, But
you will never cleanse my soul By
showering it with forgiveness. For
thou cannot Understand
my sins So
far below heaven Earth
is great For
walking on solid ground, But
too damn close to hell’s roof, Where
the devil Could
overhear my weaknesses And
use them against me At
my funeral. So
I will bury my sins alone, I
only ask you pray with me That
they turn into seeds of hope, Otherwise
my death Will
never bloom in spring. © 2015 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
