I'm often told that we poets are oblivious, always off in the moments of our thoughts....scribbling away while the rest are "doing"...but I think like you here. I find it impossible to describe the current political landscape here in the US without succumbing to bad analogies & clichés, that's why I admire you so much for being able to come up with completely original ways to show how ridiculous things have gotten during this prez race! Bravo! *smile*

I always love a good poem on hypocrisy and unpalatable choices. They are fundamentally related to todays political landscape in America. Probably in a bad way.
