This is so very true Dale, and totally hits home with me. Sometimes, though not as often as when I was younger, I feel the need to write almost as an obligation, though to who, I am never sure; (probably just me.) Thus, I put pen to paper,. Often agonize, change things over and over before sanity prevails and I think enough! It will come when it is ready; and then mostly unexpected it does and the lines just seem to spill forth.
This writing lark is a strange beast is it not. :))
You make so much sense in such a poetic manner, Dale. Offer such logical thought, display a true understanding of self.help, admit that words don't just fall from the heavens. Many would say i should have a touch of poetic laryngitis, write far, far too much. but that's something else.
See now, you've inspired me, that truly is a gift, loss of words or no.
Re.reading this, seeing differences now we're stuck in Somewhere land. Seems we know what we'd like to say but the margins are already overcrowded with unrepeatable words, minds either numb or in such a jumble, it hurts! Think you know what the Future holds, maybe always have, Dale.

I definitely need time-outs from everything I pursue passionately (from people to cooking, not just writing). I'm a firm believer in the need to replenish our coffers with quiet time & exploration & reading, etc. so you've hit on an important point to share with other cafe writers. Many bemoan writers block, but it's definitely a time of rejuvenation (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I like the way you think. Thanks for sharing Margie.
yes, Dale, I have suffered from this laryngitis enough times to identify...losing our voice...the pen keeps trying to talk...the keys as well...but nothing but a hoarse whisper that makes no sense.
