Spring To Life

I saw a flower today,

it spoke with me.

not with words.

by symbolism.

the symbol of what

this seasons represents,

for the most part… Life.

New life from seeds planted

months ago.

when winter wouldn’t let

anything grow.

and the resurrection of life

of Mother Nature’s children

that died from winter’s

merciless weather.

The feeling of joy

is in the air,

with the assist from the sun’s

rays of kisses.

that warms the Earth,

then our souls. 

And soon

the April showers

will grace us with its magic

that makes me feel reborn.

I saw a path of daisies

surrounded by a field of green,

 and I… Smiled.
