walking on sunshine

As Cassandra walked home she felt like she was on cloud nine. Despite the tragedy that her and her family occurred, her talk with her childhood friend Ally intoxicated her. She went from almost losing her best friend, in part from her stupidity, to ending up closer than ever. They talked about her dad and Jeremy. Consoling one another. She confided to her about what Carol and her friends did, then went on excepting some responsibility for her intoxicated action. Ally told her how brave she was admitting

that, but felt what they did was still unacceptable. But supported Cassandra forgiving them.

She arrived at home reflecting on the Roller coaster ride she’s endured these last two days. She opened the door not realizing she was headed to the biggest drop of all.
