Dale this poem has touched my heart and soul like no other you have written.
It is breathtakingly beautiful and at the same time heart wrenching.
In the short time that I have been a reader of your poetry I have found among your many works poems that illuminate our relationship to others, poems that encourage compassion, create a sense of wonder, or sanction the concept " We are all in this together," Some of your poems make us ponder why we are here...... or shock us into recognizing a new truth, provide a new perspective or a new way to percieve the universe.
What a gift your poetry is ! With your words you open a floodgate of emotions.
This is going into my favorites along with your many others.
As Lisette said, there is always a rainbow at the end of a rain shower.
Awww. Nice writing Dale. It's sad and I get that, been there too many times myself. But isn't writing poetry a wonderful outlet for the soul? I mean it really is. This is beautiful in the respect. Good job, friend.
Such an expressive piece. Very well written and truly amazing. I liked the flow and he imagery. The storm to what is felt in the soul.. The comparison completely executed perfectly. Awesome in fact.
Wow...just wow! Foreshadowing of a depressing fate. Beautiful, yet painful. I saw on your bio that you have a fondness for Edgar Allen Poe...to me it seems like you wrote this piece in his typical, noir style. Depressing, and very very enjoyable to read (in the sense that it was well written of course haha). This poem really made me think, especially about what you could be alluding to. Specifically, what caused the torrential rains of sorrow. Overall, a wonderful write, and I doubt I could come up with any mistakes if I sat here for years. Hope to see more from you soon ^^
This is so capivating, sad, emotional and cleverly put together. It's full of such wisdom as if you could see what was coming, not that you wanted to, but so knew what was in store although not to the extent of knowing the pain you would endure.Comparing the weather to a relationship...so apt methinks !! I love this...going to my favs. Thanks so much for sharing.

another intensely sad but powerful write. i love the beginning, the imagery is amazing, i could feel this storm approaching, could feel it gaining force, beating its rain on my head. i've been here before. how i can relate to this write. but mine is always predictable. :) a brilliant, intense write, my friend. great art.
It's better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool
