Unchained Me

Unchained Me

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

For the Lymerexes contest

"

Once there was a me

Chained to a ball of misery

But by the brace of God

The hurting lock broke itself

Leaving me to be happy

And my true self.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the last two lines... "Leaving me to be happy/and my true self."
Kinda hard to figure out what it is exactly that's chaining us up and making us unhappy; likely not gonna do that ourselves. Gotta get a little Divine intervention to help. Nice job with this. Lot said with so few words.
