A Simple Thanks

Nothing to analyze, just the straight facts from the heart.

 

It may sound corny

But it is true

The things I am most thankful for

Is the simple things

In this complicated world.

The wonders of nature

For always staying true.

My family for support

And reminding me who I am.

All my friends

For accepting me as I am.

The gift of music

For being an endless companion.

The chance to share

My love of the written word.

The list goes on and on,

This poem could turn into a novel.

Let me end by saying

For all I am thankful for

I am most thankful for

The chance to be thankful.
