A Sip Of RealityA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) Sipping
the prince’s sweet tea When
it touches your lips Turns
into gasoline Pumped
down the throat Fueling
the pain in your heart. You
never played cards Still
you lost To
a royal flush. Now
being a dragon Is
your fairy tale Even
though you don’t believe In
the contents Of
the tower you protect. With
no frog in sight To
change you back Seeking
the poison apple Is
the only solution Cause
you know just one bite Can
kill the bitter taste In
your mouth And
return you to the afterlife. © 2011 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
