Heat Of The MomentA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) I
listen to the piano softly
hum its tune in
black and white. Closing
my eyes to
let the darkness broaden
my view. The
wordless melody becomes
the light in
my mind guiding
my spirit to
uncharted corners where
virgin thoughts hide. My
inspiration flies just
below the angels but
high enough to
carry an eagle to safety. Every
note is the wind beneath
my wings making
me feel like Superman. When
the music comes to
an unexpected end I
open my eyes just
in time to imagine me
falling like a shooting star then
feeling the burning of
satisfaction in my eyes till
I am blind. © 2012 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
