Just One Drop Can Cause A FloodA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)If you think this is Sacrilegious then you are reading it wrong. Though
my vein Can feel
the needle The flesh
is unaware Of the
blood it created. As
numbness Overcomes
the pain Crimson
drips undetected Creating
a red sea In the
crack of the pavement Parted
by man’s mortality. Once
it trickles Into the
gutter The dirty
water flows Like the
Nile Filling
a destiny. When
it baptizes the sewer All the
human waste Becomes
the sacred wine Making
the rats The body
of Christ. Now
the homeless Can rejoice
with a feast Fit for
a God. © 2012 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
