It Is A Wonder

There is a person at the WC that is such a delightful person and poet that I wanted to honor them with words so Robbie this is for you.

 

Her golden hair cascades

around her face

like ocean waves

caressing a tropical island.

A smile that is a piece of art

that you have to have

for your collection

no matter the price.

With a heart like Haley’s comet,

a rarity to be seen

but once you have a glimpse

the fascination grows,

it is a wonder she isn’t

the eighth wonder

of the world.

I really like the simile you used at the start! It's really nice. I'm going to be thinking about it for a while now. The comparison is really nice in this poem. I just can't pick a favorite line here, they're all so wonderful!
