Unauthorized RequiemA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) Slowly
she whispers my name, the
tone in her voice is
one from another life; a
life that manipulated time. In
the here and now time
plays this life like
a fiddle with a broken string. Fear
dictates that this voice has
come back with a purpose, to
taunt a mind already
haunted by the cries of
something waiting to exist. Freedom
has become the enemy for
I feel like a gypsy captured
by a Siren’s song, Leaving
me exhausted… Too
tired to dig my own grave I
lye on a bed of roses to
feel the comfort of the thorns till
I bleed beyond eternity. © 2012 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
