I combined to senryus on one page to save a tree... oh wait that don't apply here.

 

Light Hearted

When the eyes are closed

the heart can find the truth in

the darkest places.

 

 

Thoughtless

Following the sheep

will lead your destiny right

into the wolf’s mouth.

Such words of wisdom here. The eye may tell us colors and shapes, but it is with our minds we truly see...the sense we call common sense, which is not very common in this world. I've always said I'd rather live 1 life as a lion... then 10 lives as a sheep. Lions don't live in herds like sheep do, and like you say, "sometimes right into the mouthes of wolves". We should remember this when we vote ;)
