oh why not hippie was a very nice trend i could see them gather to riot against all matters that worried humans ,live so simple ,rebellion against all that was against nature against peace against hatred,i did love them a lot,and i loved this writing it shows the good soul inside you ,wonderful

Me too. Even though I wore a military uniform all those years, I identified with them a lot. "Make love, not war"--yeah! "Be yourself" "March to the beat of your own drummer"--those ideals are still part of me. I still listen to the Beatles and the Doors. I even say "Far out!" sometimes. Thanks for the ride in VW van, debileah.

and there's nothing wrong with that! :-) I love the free spirited nature "hippie-ism" represents, I'm just not into the fassion sense, lol. j/k.. but seriously a great poem about who you are "just a hippie" like saying "that's just me. Except it or not I don't care"
