Endless Invitation    3/12/08

And the night sky

Moved across the walls

It caught her in it’s attention

As the moon slid across the sky

And the clouds drifted in

She dreamed about the future

Wondered what would be

And how soon would the sunlight

Through her window come

Inside her head were notions

Crossing this way and that way

Sometimes she tried to place them

Make them sense of

But could not

Left so they were

To their own resources

Alone and unfettered

In absolute untime

Winding down the clock

The curtains that never drew

Laying on the floor

Piles of fabric

Piles of past

Inside that place

Inside her room

In the house where

Her things were

Where her life came back to

Every day

Every way

How could it not

She pulls the blanket closer

And stretches her legs long out
breathing in hard

Feeling the air inside the lungs

That alive keep her be

Just the chance that there

May be another side

A somewhere else that

Calls quietly

Little whispers and chances

In a dark covered space

Visited every night

In-between the light

And next light

There is the place

Where it all works out

Brings you back to center

And always

Invites you in

About
Creation. This notion of create and create. To see, hear, feel, the "what is" all around me. There is this something inside me. That waits around the corner. Knows me. Anyone can surround themselves, .. more..
