Still searching

I can't believe how long its been

A year to the day

And i still can't handle it

I take a pill everyday to deal with life

And as i continue

I find that

I've lost control of the only thing

I've had a hold of

And the friends nonexistent

Even my parents don't know

Where I am

I still can't seem to grasp

The emotional ball

As I turn

I won't find my shadow

Not in this place

Not in this way

I'll be alone

As i walk the earth

Searching for something i wish i had
