Discovery Through You

I am discovering myself through you

My heart is learning her rhythm

My soul is learning her vision

You have given my breath a new meaning

I am discovering love though you 

The gleam of your eyes is my foundation

They are steady, and never lost in translation

Proof that we are one

I am discovering pain through you 

An unfamiliar drug 

The kind that is swept under the rug

Remembered only in late night drunken phone calls

I am learning to cry through you

Learning not to fear emotion

Because it is a beautiful commotion

Rather than a sign of weakness

I don't tend to rhyme a lot, but thought I would give it a try. What do you think of the rhyme pattern? Does it feel forced?
