Darkness- Good or Bad?

Ever felt uncommonly comfortable in the frightening darkness?

I see darkness surrounding me,

Engulfing me in its cold and terrifying gaze.

I can see nothing in it, except for darkness,

Which reminds me of the black inkiness.

I know I should be scared, even frightened,

But the darkness actually calms me down.

Its coldness envelops me

Like a warm blanket,

Securing me from my troubles of the real world,

Of all my my fears, my sorrows, my fears,

My wounds, my sadness, my rage, my many negative qualities,

But not my happiness.

For, even in the oddest places, I can find

Humour , even if just for a moment,

And that gives me hope, for the peace

I require.
