For Nouténé Sidimé

For Nouténé Sidimé

A Poem by delapruch
"

"Dad in custody after daughter, 13, dies" MONTREAL — A 13-year-old girl whose beating death led to the arrest of her 71-year-old father had enraged him by refusing to say her prayers.

"

For Nouténé Sidimé

it is said by her closest friends that she

was the “coolest in her class”

and now she has been robbed & taken from us

taken in the name of a fictitious character

taken in the name of

allah

i wonder what she could have done with her life

had she not been beaten to death

in the name of religion

had she only said her prayers

had she only done what she was told by this murdering ignorant monster

not aware of his own strength

who swung no doubt with his eyes closed

filled with all the righteous indignation of someone who has been

assured

by a great &

invisible &

omniscient

force

(something twisting and burning inside his

thick

idiot

skull---

something that has been carried on the shoulders of cretinous dolts

multiplying itself

year after year,

like some kind of Bubonic Plague that rolls through the countryside

killing everything in its path

through an excruciating process of

drawn

out

torment

and

he has the book to prove that what he says goes

because he is a man

with the backing of 1400 years of bullshit

1400 years of keeping Women at

bay

1400 years of

god &

angels&

prophets&

resurrection &

judgement &

predestination &

five pillars &

testimony &

fasting &

alms-giving &

pilgrimage &

laws &

& more laws

& even more constratints on thought and everyday human life

strangling

suffocating

and polluting human hearts

all

on "the path leading to the watering place"

the place where

your drowning is inevitable

if you question why you are walking in this direction)

yes,

if

she had

only

said her prayers,

then maybe her father would not have killed her

please

forgive me if i come back to the fact that none of her loved ones will ever see her deep intelligent brown eyes again

and that that huge smile that certainly filled a room with

sincerity, love and optimism

(which no religion guarantees)---will never shine in our lives again

forgive me if i wonder if she thought outside the box

if she, like so many smart, talented and justifiably frustrated & angry muslim Women

are f*****g fed up

(and they continue to SPEAK UP

to raise their fists to this overwhelming oppression that they face---never ceasing to inspire)

i wonder if  Nouténé saw in her father’s eyes

the authority held strong by the book

where

those with c***s are told that

if any of your women are guilty of lewdness (resistance, intelligence, passion)

then they are to be confined in the house “until death” does “claim them” (qur’an, 4:15)

and that men can exchange them

like someone at walmart taking back

a pair of pants that just didn’t fit

because allah saw fit to

give Women less “strength” than those with c***s (qur’an, 4:34)

because allah himself, paranoid & mistrustful of those 2,000 or so other fictional characters floating round (some of them female)

(as well as being obviously insecure because he felt that his own penis just might not be big enough)

said unto the men of this earth

“As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, and beat them” (qur’an, 4:34)

in complete submission young Nouténé was to walk

all the days of her life

that was what she had been told to do since she’d been born

but did she believe it?
inside was she stronger than allah would have her be?

was she as strong as the Women in this world that are gaining daily, excelling and breaking down the walls & exceeding the

boundaries set by all these extravagant cults based on flamboyant works of fiction and the

holy pricks that continue to profit from them?

we will never know

WE

WILL

NEVER

KNOW

just how much this one Woman could have accomplished

had her life not been cut short

a moment of silence isn’t powerful enough

to bring back a stolen life

it isn’t powerful enough to heal the permanent scars

still bleeding & burning within those that knew her best

and it certainly isn’t powerful enough to keep this kind of horror

from happening again

those who feel that Nouténé should NEVER be forgotten

and that her memory should propel us amongst the living to stand up against the savage injustices of islam

WE MUST BEGIN NOW

using everything in our own individual capacity to end forever the murderous reality

found in the acts of everyday practitioners like this young girl’s father

WE MUST BEGIN NOW

to stifle these ridiculous fictions

these organized religions which

are responsible for such turmoil

in the short time that we are on this planet together

WE MUST BEGIN NOW

because every second that these plagues continue to flourish

another person’s future is nearing an abrupt end

may peace be upon US

who live here on this planet TOGETHER

may peace be upon US---

who value the lives of one another

EQUALLY

may peace be upon US

who refuse to divide one another into isolated death cults based on

ANY OF THE F*****G REASONS THAT THE KILLERS AMONGST US DO

we have no one to blame but ourselves if we let this continue
