SONNET 1

SONNET 1

A Poem by delapruch
"

After attempting to ceasing the cackling reflection, it stops pretending that it can and cackles in unison.

"

All smartest animals keep free from offspring,

For any one human knows they will die,

And as life betters with orgy & feast,

Only narcissists may bother breeding:

Still you, arrogantly, with such dull eyes,

Striving to be quintessentially cool

Creating bounty where scarcity drives,

Alone you’re own foe & mindless tool.

Since now it’s you, whose sad life’s surely spent

Whose days, numbered, moving toward nothing,

Embellish yourself by faking contentment

Smoldering & seething in self-loathing.

Comfort such people who will never see,

Admire their vanity and hate for thee.
