Commandment IX

*“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.”

in the middle ages,

well, really, in any age

there have been many, many, many

rattus norvegicus

&

though the usage of rats in torture

spanned multitudinous methods

the main goal of the most

efficient way of killing an individual

through the usage of

rats

was to force the animal to burrow its way through the stomach & intestines

from one side of the human body

to

the other

by restricting all of the movement of the

accused

the good believers would

bind them to a table or

flat plane of some sort

which had a hole carved out in the middle of it

with the accused positioned over it

so that the hole was lined up directly under the middle of the individual’s

torso

the rat or rats then were placed atop the body

in some sort of metal cage or box---

this box held hot coals, which burning,

would terrify the rats

and force them to try and get away from the heat

as quickly as possible

they would eventually

dig

with their 4 different kinds of teeth

the incisors &

the canines &

the premolars, as well as the

molars themselves---

tunneling their way

right straight through

the body of the individual

ripping & tearing everything as they

would go

while the accused

gasped

&

screamed

their wretched way to

cessation.
