sheer pulchritude

sheer pulchritude

A Poem by delapruch
"

see note for reviewers.

"

when you find

something

that you love to do

just

for

the

sake

of doing it---

you encounter sheer

pulchritude---

yes, you wade with the wind &

you have found something that for

lack of a better word, is

as

pure

as anything in our incredibly

short lives

can be.

as the very concept of

purity

hardly applies to many other aspects of life

without bringing with it

negative connotations regarding

judgement, discrimination, prejudice

& the inability to come upon a

consensus,

when trying to compare personal moral codes in order to

establish any

compromise---

it is not wise to use it often---

it’s not wise to throw it around,

fleetingly---

however,

purely & deeply,

one cane be assured that if you like what it is that you are doing

just for the sake of

doing---

then you will never wander with the disdain of those that

hate their lives.
