This is YOUR life & YOUR life, alone.

despite what you might have been told when you rolled out of the womb,

you need not ask

permission

to live.

 

despite those around you that tell you that if you don’t submit to their demands,

you need not ask

permission

to live.

 

despite the threats that come with the assertion of your freedom in the face of oppression,

you need not ask

permission

to live.

 

despite all the supposed consequences that are said by many to come to you if you live without the permission of

anyone,

you need not ask or

let it keep you up at

night.

 

don’t bother wasting your attention,

deliberating whatsoever these commands made upon your

person,

for you owe nothing to anyone

or

anything

who would even

attempt

to make you ask

permission

to live.
