who would have though that a man

spawned from the factory of silver spoons &

joseph smith’s silver plates

would ever out-spend another candidate?

first,

as the election process in this country is dead,

as the ballot is dead,

as the so-called “democracy” has been irrelevant since its

beginning,

when it called for freedom amidst the slavery & oppression of millions &

the voting rights for rich white males

(keeping women locked away as baby machines in the house)

all in the bag,

to perpetuate the sound of empire---

in this context, there is no need for an election race---

just look at the bank account of the guy running against the other guy with the

biggest bank account &

go back home america---

stay the little f*****g sheep that you are.

for this is the message we are given

this is the way our new robot talks to us

after winning over hearts & minds in florida,

telling us on CNN that

he’s not concerned about the very poor

even though he cares so much about americans.

hmmm.

dear mr. “not concerned about the very poor”

are you aware of the 46.2 million americans living

below the poverty line?

that’s 1 in 6.

there has never been a higher number

since the census began documenting data half a century ago

& with African-Americans & Latin-Americans making up

54% of this 46.2

& less than 10% of america’s poor looking like you,

maybe it is difficult to think about anything more than the

“middle-income americans” that you keep speaking about---

who exactly are these “middle-income americans?”

did you see them on the television one day while

passing into your study or

did you simply jump on the politician bandwagon,

where discussing a thing that doesn’t exist,

something which people have to ask themselves if they are in

because they don’t want to be part of the next

below-the-poverty-line data gathering,

is just easier---

it’s easy, like providing an airbrushed image on the magazine covers

of a woman that no woman can ever be,

so that she will buy all the products said to be necessary by society

to get closer,

a la Naomi Wolf’s The Beauty Myth,

or even better,

as the biggest lie ever committed,

getting people to put their faith in a “god”

that they have never seen

that they have never heard from,

doing all that they can in their short little lives

to be all they can be &

spend all that they can spend

to try & get to that

“promised land”---

stop promising, mr. romney.

Mitt Romney: "I’m in this race because I care about Americans. I’m not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I’ll fix it."

Soledad O’Brien: "You just said, ’I’m not concerned about the very poor,’ because they have a safety net. And I think there are lots of very poor Americans who are struggling who would say that sounds odd. Can you explain that?"

Romney: "Well, you had to finish the sentence, Soledad. I said I’m not concerned about the very poor that have a safety net, but if it has holes in it, I will repair them."

O’Brien: "Got it. OK."

Romney: "The challenge right now—we will hear from the Democrat Party the plight of the poor, and—and there’s no question, it’s not good being poor, and we have a safety net to help those that are very poor. But my campaign is focused on middle-income Americans. My campaign—I mean, you can choose where to focus. You can focus on the rich. That’s not my focus. You can focus on the very poor. That’s not my focus. My focus is on middle-income Americans."
