happy pet-buying couple PSA

home sweet home

came the first couple months

and when moving in together

they started to dream of all the things

that they would do &

they started to plan &

with the plan came the telling of the

friends &

with the telling of the friends came the

spending even more time with the

friends outside the time that they had spent

alone at the house &

with the time outside the house came more

preparation time at the house &

with all the time being spent,

in a mutual ridiculous notion,

they decided that it was time to get a pet

because a pet for a couple is a starting point---

the couple’s pet roams around the house

as pets do, but somehow the way a couple talks

about the pet & the way the pet is defined by the

couple sounds a lot like a couple of people who think

that they have a kid---

yeah, that’s it…an actual living, breathing, human being---

the pet that the couple went & got from a pet store is

supposed to be some kind of practice-kid,

like the next step in a relationship

that they both think is going well,

so that if they were to get married &

if they were to have a kid,

well, most certainly,

taking care of a little dog

must be exactly like taking care of a

baby, no?

 

someone please get a 2x4 or perhaps a 4x4 &

slap people who think like this up side the head

for being such f*****g idiots.
