there are certainly songs that i could die to

melodies so perfect that they command a leaving of reality

that they insist upon the inability to feel pain

that they conjure up the beauty within &

defeat all attempts by the outer world to

destroy us---

there are songs that slow down time to the point

where the enjoyment of the minutes, of the seconds

becomes possible,

as each sound, each sonorous morsel

brings with it a purity that allows the individual to interpret it in

any way that they would like &

if this could sing me into that sweetest of

silences,

i’m sure that a perfect personal kind of justice might

arise.
