Art or A*****e

Just screwing around with writers block

I wrote a poem 

It was a worthless piece of crap 

I still posted it 

F**k only knows why 

You people know I can't write

So it got reviews 

The people said they liked it 

Those people can't read 

I want to block everyone 

with two hundred friends

and everyone of them blocked 

It's an art statement 

or am I just an a*****e 

I can't tell which one 

Because being an a*****e

Is an art statement 

when you're a poet

You spit no perfumed pronouns, no eccentric unnecessary vocabulary exists right here in this satirical write and that is why we love you.
All the while, we feel pretentious; it is enough to 'write poetry' to draw in some who cannot read..

It's a good thing you can read. And write. I feel your strength through your diluted words.. A power I much wish to posses.

This happens to me all the time! I write s**t with no clue what I'm doing, end up posting it just to see if I'm the only one who thinks it's s**t... Then people start interpreting all the hidden meanings and all the symbolism and all that crap. And I'm just sitting here like honest to God I had no idea that's what I meant when I wrote that! Of course, to them I say "I meant to do that. Pffft."

I know what you mean. My stuff is usually pretty straight forward but it doesn't stop people (typically people who don't normally read my work) from finding secret meanings I didn't know were there. It's kinda funny .

Thanks Rita. You know it was your poem "gravity" that inspired this piece? It got me thinking about some of my less than inspirational works like"I like girls. A Dr Seuss rhyme" "Little Eve" and some of the other less than noble poems I've cranked out. Funny is good though. Even when it's filthy
