A Tsunami of Cops

I wrote this in about ten minutes and made one edit pass for about another ten.

 Cops give me the Willies

When they come around 

You wanna come on cocky

Your a*s gets beaten down 

Tazered till you're Barbeque 

then all you need is sauce

Tenderized like KFC

Pulverizing applesauce 

Cops give me the willies

When they come around 

Beat you like a meat pinata

until you're gagged and bound

Keep your Goddamn mouth shut

and smile through broken teeth 

You know where you are going 

Your a*s is up the creek 

Cops give me the willies

when they come around

It's white law they're enforcing 

You shouldn't stick around

cops give me the willies too. I've actually turned off a street I hadn't intended to turn on just because I had one behind me in traffic. Pretty dumb huh? Great poem though.

I'm the one who said they're supposed to serve and protect. And I think some of them do, though I'm quite cynical when it comes to the police. Once poeple are given authority, they use it and often they misuse it.

I hate when it's raining cops, but I don't hate all cops, just the dirty ones. I've known some very nice cops that when your knees are shaking let you go with a warning. I've never been arrested, never been to jail, never had a moving violation, but I did inhale , but I never got caught. Some cops are a blight on the very people that they promised to protect and preserve. funny one but about a very serious issue! well done.

My daughter manages a warehouse where a number of men are emplyed. She tells me the place can be full of men, working at various jobs, all peaceful. If the police show up every one of those men disappears without a trace. Some don't come back for hours. Some don't come back till the next day. Some don't come back at all.

This reminds me of The Dark Knight. How the Joker was a killer and couldn't be stopped and Batman struggled because the only way to get rid of the murderous Joker he would have to become lawless a d murderous himself. The epic struggle of pure good and pure evil. It's the same for today's time. A quote I once read said that to defeat your enemy, be their opposite. But sometimes I feel this is not true.

When I was deployed in Iraq we had more in common with our enemy than we did the folks back home. We we're both living in a war zone chomping at the bit to kill each other. Trouble was we were easy to spot.

This is a good insight into the torture of criminals. I've heard stories of wonderful policemen as well, but I know there will always be ethical struggles about how policemen treat citizens.

Every cop is an individual and most of them are just doing their job the best they can. Some of them are nothing more than grown up bullies in uniform. Unfortunately You don't know which is which until one is shining a flash light in your face and asking for your ID.

I cannot believe the way the police force now is - it is getting a police state in most places now and beatings getting worse for minimal crimes...when the true and highest of damned crimes are WITHIN the force and Government...makes me sick, really does...and what's with the damn uniforms of late? Looking more like something out of 1984 each day...martial law isn't far away, if it isn't already here! x

The US has the world's highest incarceration rate in no small part due to mandatory sentencing laws from the epic failure that is the war on drugs. Our dysfunctional government recently passed new drug sentencing guide lines easing the mandatory sentencing, giving judges more discretion with sentencing and allowing some 40000 inmates incarcerated for petty drug violations to seek early release. America's not the land of the free for millions of her citizens. Yes I have a thing about this. When the justice system is broken everyone pays for it.
