A Smile Did Hide

A smile that crawls on indefinitely 

With lips like mounds

And cheeks for hills

With rivers that trace the lines

The curves that hides those lies

And the white brigades that speak it.

Where the secrets creep, so sly.

Those lips, mine did not fit.

Easy to hide many things behind a smile. The good description allowed the reader to feel the emotion and the desire of your words. Easy to hide and keep secrets. Can keep us safe. A very good closing to a excellent poem.
