Capital VicesA Poem by demuremindsEnvy, she glowed a forest’s supple, luminescent lanterns afloat, in search for him. Wrath, she reached for a heated throng, her fiery pair of rubies gleaming, singing of euphoria, tempting him with Lust, so delicately alluring, beckoning a purr. Pride, she toddled with him in glory through eventide heat, her pompous unraveling dance. Gluttony, he consumed her and she him, lavishly, in searing musk. Sloth, their adrenaline spent over a span of 7 days, they slept, flippant at the luxury sheets. Greed, she wrapped him up in satin lace, and kept him for her own taste.
