Love is Cyclical

Just pent up emotions from past relationship issues and current ones

I have once loved deeply and lost
I have once held my head so high I thought nothing could bring it down so low
I have experienced my own version of hell and back again
Through it all I built strength, courage and self knowledge
Yet I continue to make mistakes that I thought I learned from
I realize it begins with love and it ends with love
Pain is a never ending experience we all must suffer
Love is the fabric that holds this universe together
And the snag that unravels it

I really like this poem Denise. I like how you demonstrate the pleasurable and destructive aspects of love. Personally I do experience love as you would. I'm really different about that, but I still find your poem as intriguing. I hope that one day you will find your one true love, and will allow you to experience the more happy side of its nature. I don't have any suggestions for improvement here.
