Emotion

more feelings pent up inside myself, feeling like I can't always explain or share with others

My heart sings a song,
only I truly hear.
There is peace, anger, love, resentment
emotions warring,
battling contentment
No one sees only but a glimpse,
only I truly see.

Sometimes emotions are hard to express to just anyone it can leave us vulnerable if we expose our true feelings. Your peom is right on target and it was a good read for me.

Wow so insightful no pun intended but for such a short piece it so in depth in meaning, we hold every emotion within and we have the choice to express what we feel. Great job, well done.

Once again, I can so relate! I constantly feel like I have these emotions that sometimes I try to explain, but I never seem to make people really understand what I'm trying to say and it's so frustrating.

I can feel the emotion in this new and the flow is nice. My one advice would maybe to put an empty line between stanzas, such as "contenment" and "No one" in this case? I often feel like this puts in a pause and helps with emphasis, but that's totally a writer preference thing.
