causeA Poem by gunagya sokalhow long will she take?
(you're all i want ~ cas)
i stood there in rain, waiting, my hands cold
a flower bouquet in my right looking up my wristwatch. by each second that passes, i feel a spark of hope distant figures, a false resemblance. give my heart a reason, as i eagerly await for her arrival, here, stranded in rain; while soaked from body to toe; not a worry about the cold as the storm strengthens. a heart left to its own reasoning, the question that haunts- "why hasn't she showed up?" i turn away, in mild pain, and confusion; an uncomfortable deniance to accept truth. © 2023 gunagya sokalAuthor's Note
