what is a shower?

what is a shower?

A Poem by gunagya sokal

q. what is a shower?
lead fulcrum. a scotch of pain. leopards' pancing on the plastic, hollow of my marker. they're spotted. oblique.
this heavy, weighted downpour of graphite on the surface of my skin and lead it is; a band of light on the sheen of its matte black skin.

i feel the water (lead) cleanse and it putrefies me. it swivels on my cheekbones. it infuriates me more than anything. i resist change into vapor.
I've absolutely always loathed the act of the anticipation of the thought of it before; bathe.

 q. what is a shower?
 dreadful. anticipatory.
 q. what is a shower?
the utter obliteration of my resistance to it.
 q. what is a shower?
the utter obliteration of my will to live.
 q. what is a shower?
pushes me more than i can carry my dead.
 q. what is a shower?
 dull.
 q. what is a shower?
white.
 q. what is a shower?
a mad spiraling sink into the toilet bowl to where i belong,
q. what is a shower?
a screech of timbre struck against the grit of the grain of my teeth.
