my hero

My hero doesn't have powers

she doesn't shoot laser beams

she's rather quite normal

like you or like me

My hero doesn't soar above buildings

she doesn't fly by the sea

she doesn't jump super high

but she's still special to me

My hero's got powers

she does,i was mistaken

she makes me feel better

when my whole world's been shaken

My hero's got heart

she's more real than most

she's not some character

but she still deserves a toast

my hero's a savior

she saves me it's true

she gives me a look

and then knows what to do

My hero's no comic book

she's not tv show

she doesn't have an action figure

but she does learn to grow

My hero means more

she always stays calm

she keeps me in check

You have to show this to your mom! It is so adorable and sweet. It really has a pure and innocent feel about it. The only aquard line was "she's rather quite normal". It doesn't seem to flow as well as the rest of the poem. That's my only suggestion.:)

this was adorable. i really enjoyed reading this.

there were a few parts of the poem where it seemed a bit confusing. like when you said, "shes not tv show". could you have meant, "shes no tv show or not a tv show?

other than slight issues, this was good. and i loved that it put a smile on my face at the end.
