Let’s not forget

That I love you

And that I have always loved you.

Since the beginning of time

Our love was there

Growing, evolving.

 

From embers it began

From fire its phoenix

Rose up,

Into the vast  darkness

Of an unknown universe.

 

From the depths of time and space

Embers shine

Like stars

In the nights sky.

 

And when lovers

look towards the heavens,

They will know

That I love you.
