School of Yore

A school and birthday themed poem.

A day long ago it seems
I played in the sunset and summer-like breeze

School of yore
Where,
Lost in time
You could say
Buried in the rhythmic movements
All but a joyous memory

There's something lost in that school of yore
That playground
That pink clouded sky
I think it's my childhood
Left in the by-and-by
